Star light, star bright...

I thought before I head to bed I would create a quick inchie for this weeks Challenge theme on Inching Artists... This is what I came up with. I made the background using a painting technique called Crayon Batik. I then just drew on some stars in black and traced and colored in with a silver glitter pen :) Its simple but I thought it would be a good embellishment for something :D Check out http://inchingartists.blogspot.com for challenges and inspiration :)
There's a new theme added every Tuesday!

Sisterly Love Inchie

I created this Inchie for the weekly challenge at Inching Artists... Im not very happy with the photo, its very blurry (thats what I get for not having a scanner *sighs*) This weeks new theme is Stars but last weeks was Love.... If you like a challenge or need some inspiration head over http://inchingartists.blogspot.com/ :)

More new Inchies....

Created a few new inchies for Artistic-Creations that I thought I would share. The one to the left is my favorite of the batch :) I loved the vintage rose, it was a really beautiful yellow with the dark green and brown in the leaves.... So I took some beige paper and crinkled it up... flattened it.. then crinkled it again, and flattened it as much as I could. Then I took my stamp pad in Christmas green and lightly dragged it over the paper, and did the same with my chocolate brown stamp pad. :) That was the background of the inchie. I didnt want to do too much to take away from the rose and the background because it has such a cool texture... so I left it simple. I edged the inchie with a similar coor as the darker part of the rose and wha-la, there you have it!

Then you have the snowman set that I put together, with these wicked vintage images I found! :) For the first one I did a similar background as the rose but I used a light blue colored paper and my indigo stamp pad. I added the cute little boy and snowman graphic and a shiny red brad for the top of his hat, then I took my icicle glitter paint pen and added little shiny dots randomly. You cant see them very well in the photo but in person they sparkle really well :) The middle Inchie is my favorite of this set. I used a neat background fiber paper that already had a swirly texture to it and I used my true red stamp pad to lightly add color, and a tiny bit of chocolate brown. I used the cute angel boy and snowman image, a red spangle snowflake from my little stash and a little piece of gold mesh, then I just edged the inchie with a black marker :) And the final Inchie was a simple red striped background paper from my stash of scraps, the lovely vintage image, and I have a mini snowflake stamp that came in handy for this one. I just randomly stamped snowflakes in black and used the icicle paint pen to add sparkles to the centers :)

Ten Two Studios Holiday countdown

Im sure everyone already knows about Ten Two Studio's countdown by now but I wanted to blog about it.... If you visit http://countdown.tentwostudios.com/ each day, there are free collage images and more there being shared! Its such a nice thing to do and I am loving what has been shared so far. But remember these are linkware, and are not free... so be fair and blog or share the link above before using any of the shares :) Enjoy!

Silhouette Inchies

I'm working on my first Inchie swap in Artistic-Creations. The swap is for 10 free expression inchies. So I thought it would be neat to make a few of them similar. Im a big fan of silhouette's can you tell? LOL! I got to use 3 stamps that I havent used yet too :) The base of the inchies are handpainted using a scrapping technique w/ various colors and a mix with some metallic watercolor as well. (Thats why the hibiscus one has a glitter to it) The others do too but you cant really see it in the photo. :) Then I just stamped using black ink and did the edges in black as well. Simple, quick, and fun :) I still have 7 more to create but I think that is going to wait until tomorrow, its almost 3 am and Im plum tuckered out *lol*

My Spirit Animal.. altered art postcard

Today I created an Altered art postcard for an exchange in Artistic-Creations.

The theme was 'Your Spirit Animal'

For mine I chose to do the Rabbit. On the back of the postcard I included my reason for choosing the rabbit... this is what I said:

"I chose the Rabbit because they stand for:
Guile, Perodox and contradiction, quick thinking, receiving hidden teachings and intuitive messages, living by one's own wits, strengthening intuition, moving through fear, and humility. "

Turkey's & Pumpkin's ATC

I happily created this ATC this evening for a swap in the group AlteredArtBliss. :) The theme was Turkey's and Pumpkins. I actually used a striped base paper, then found this cellophane plastic w/ turkeys and pumpkins on it that I had saved in my stash (I knew it would come in handy some day! lol) I attached this to the top of the striped background paper. I then created 2 inchies using pumpkin stamps and fiber paper and attached rafia and a rafia bow as an accent. Thought it turned out kind of cute, and I like the 3-d effect of it. :)

More to come... stay tuned!

Free Expression ATC

I thought I would share this ATC that I created today.... its actually for an exchange in a new yahoogroup called AlteredArtBliss. The quote is actually from my collection but it was also the quote for this month's quote challenge in Artistic-Creations. The hands were also part of a challenge in the group AlteredDesigns. So I basically hit 3 heads w/ 1 stone LOL... I am not too happy with the picture. Im trying out my new camcorder and it takes still's and this is what it came out with lol... so maybe when I return this weekend from our trip I can get a better picture of it. Im also not too fond of the glitter. Me and glitter just dont mesh well I suppose. But I tried. haha! I didnt want it to be too bland!

Altered Puzzle Christmas ornament...

My little Santa puzzle pin was such a success I was asked if I could make it into Christmas tree ornaments :) So I did. I actually made a set that I am selling in my shop (well they are reserved actually) ;) I was shocked that it was going to be liked so much. This go-round I decided to change it up just a little. The piece is a different shape of course as all puzzle pieces are different... I printed the little phrase and used my fancy scissors to cut the words out instead of stamping (I thought it might look a bit neater) I also used all small bells for the dangly's and added ribbon for the hanger on the top instead of the pin backing. If anyone else is interested in purchasing a Love for Santa Altered Puzzle Piece Ornament, made w/ love by your's truley email me at AlteredWhimsey@gmail.com :) Price: $3.50 SHIPPING IS FREE for the Holidays :)

Turkey & Pumpkin's ATC

This was a simple ATC I created for the Y! Group GlobalChattyChicks.... I basically used a scrapbook page that I have had for ages. I shaded the edges with a #2 pencil (a cheap and easy way to accent edges etc if you dont have a stamp pad etc).. I have this awesome pumpkin stamp that I have used a few times, I found it for 70 cents on discount at Michaels (a GREAT fall find of mine!) I stamped th pumpkins and then w/ colored pencils I colored the image in. I then cut the image out and layered it on dark brown paper and then orange fiber paper that I cut into a faux stamp shape. I added orange ribbon as an accent and then added the faux stamp on top :) and WHA-LAH! I have one more to create, so that should be a fun creation for the weekend....

Happy Crafting!

Fall themed ATC's

I love fall, I think its my favorite season :) I thought I would share these ATC's I have created via the Y! Group USA_Pals... and also share some of my favorite fall quotes while Im at it... Im a bit of a quote collector, so these few are from my collection.

Birthday Card Creation...

Tonight I made this birthday card for my brother Jeremy. He turns 22 on the 21st :) I really liked how it turned out and it was simple but Im not happy with the picture. The colors are off in the photo, its not so yellow in person, Im not sure why its so yellow tinted in the photo. Im sending it off to NC tomorrow so it will make it there in time for his birthday so I hope he likes it :) I havent really made cards like this before. Just thought I would share :D

Holiday Puzzle Pin

Its that time of the year again, and Im so excited! I love the holidays, and thought this was a perfect start to the season :)

In my group Altered-Art-Puzzles we are always thinking of new ways to altered childrens puzzle pieces into art... for the Holidays we are altering pieces into Holiday Pin's :) Fun aye?

This was what I created. I took some blue background paper, and traced my piece onto the paper and cut it out. I then stamped it randomly with mini snowflake, candy cane, and star stamps. I used red, blue, and gold ink for these. The Santa image is actually from a piece of notepad paper that I found at a craft store a few years back.. (I stumbled on it in my "stash" a few days ago when I reorganized my craft room HAHA)... I attached Santa and then I stamped a cute little saying around the piece..."I luv Santa just be claus'.. thought it was cute :D

I then moved on to getting the actual puzzle piece prepared. I used my xacto knife and poked holes in 3 different places on the bottom of the piece. I would have used jewlery hoops to attach the bells but I didnt have those so instead I took my craft wire and looped it through the holes and the bells. Once that was finished I went ahead and glued the pin to the back of the piece and let it dry.

While the glue was drying I took a red glitter pen and went around the edges of the puzzle piece to add a little pizzaz to it. To the right is a picture where Im trying to show the glitter... its there I promise :) Then once the glue was dry on the puzzle piece I glued the cut out puzzle piece that I decorated to the front of the piece. (if that makes sense)... I am coating the entire piece with a glitter glaze to protect it when its being worn.. and WA-LAH... a holiday pin that makes music of its own :)

Little Spook's ATC's

Its been a while since I have added anything to my blog, eesh! I am going to try and add a few things in the next few days. I've been so busy with my shop and also life in general that I havent had the time.....

For now here are the Little Spook's ATC's I created for my group Artistic-Creations....

This ATC was pretty simple. I have these awesome unmounted background stamps from Time to Stamp and the background for this ATC was created from one of those backgrounds. I just took blue, red, and gold ink and splotched it in various places on the stamp and then stamped it on beige cardstock. I thought it turned out pretty neat. I then used my black stamp pad to add color to the edges. I used a nifty little vintage girl graphic that I stumbled on over the net... and then stamped the word 'spooks'. On the pedastal I added a clear crystal jewel... and wha-lah! :)

The background for this ATC was created using another rubberstamp from Time to Stamp. I stamped it on the same beige paper as the above and cut the design out. I then attached it to an ATC that I painted dark red. I drew a little design in the top corner with a red glitter pen... the image is from the same vintage pic as above but I cut it out and split the kiddies up to make 2 ATC's :) I added little designs on their outfit and a little black hat to each kid. And finally I added dark crystal glitter paint to the edging of the card, to finish it off :) Im partial to the ATC above but I like the way the background makes the kid's stand out more.... :)

So those are my little creations for now... I will be adding more soon, Im working on tons of different projects right now.. so we'll see whats next ;)

My craft creation for the day...

I just wanted to share my little craft creation for today.... I had a halloween light just like the one above made and since its now November I decided to change it and create a 'new light'... So here it is :) It was fun to create and I put it in my front window as a holiday howdy to all the driver's that pass by our place :) I like how it turned out... I hope to create another for christmas, and other holidays as they come along. It was a pretty simple process but I just love the outcome. I hope everyone is enjoying their November 1st :)
I would love to see or hear how you all will be decorating for the coming holidays...
<3>

Season's ATC's

I thought I would share my newest ATC's. These were for a swap in Artistic-Creations for 1 atc per each season of the year. The winter ATC didnt turn out well so that has to be re-created *sighs* but I wanted to share the other 3 :)

Of course this is for Spring. I used the same spritz technique to handmake the background... I used Yellow and lime green as well as a bit of pink (but you cant really see it in the photo) I then used a bit of background paper I had with roses and cut the roses out and glued them as a design from left to right... I stamped a doll graphic w/ wings using stamps via TimetoStamp and stamped out the word spring. I then used a paper flower via PaperWhimsy on the bottom to give a little 3d accent :)

This was a really simple ATC for Summer... I used a sand background page and a sand dollar image... I then used my metallic watercolors for the 'water' around the edges and used my favorite stamps to stamp the words Summers Treasures. Very Simple lol...

Then finally Fall :) I again used my favorite spritzing technique using Acrylics and my metallic watercolors. I used a great fall sticker that I stumbled upon in my materials.. and that pretty much sums it up. I wanted to use my stamps for Autumn Blessings but I didnt have enough room :( So instead I just opted to write it out.... not the best looking but I couldnt think of what else to do that would fit in what little space I had to work with.

Its been a while....

It really has, hasnt it? We are finally moved into our new home. We love it here, its so much better than our previous locations AND I am back to health thank goodness. I really am thankful to all of my friends who kept us in your prayers over the last month.I dont know what I would do without all of you (you know who you are!)

We actually adopted a new furbaby during our move :) We were in the mists of transfering a few items when we stopped by the cable company to arrange things at our new home and low-and-behold the cutest little black kitten came out of hiding and jumped right into my lap whileI was waiting in the car for Tim. He purred and layed in my lap the entire way home, made not one sound. He was really thin and had fleas really badly so it was obvious that the little guy was fending for himself outside all alone. Anyone who know's me knows that I am a sucker for animals and will do anything to help one in need. So we went to grooming him and feeding him as well as we could, we treated him for fleas and actually round worms/parasites since he was outdoors and now he's a part of our family. We named him Raven.... at first it was Midnight but I thought it was such a common name and we are so close to Halloween (which is so very odd because Honey's (our dogs) birthday is October 31st) that I decided Raven would suit him :)He is a really loving kitty, and he loves our other furbabies. He really gets along with everyone... He's doing a lot better now and has gained quite a bit of weight :)
Here is a picture of the little guy huddled up in a blanket his first night home after his bath :)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I would have been online alot sooner if it wasnt for our crazy telephone company! It took them 2 weeks to pencil us in to their schedule and get everything installed and fixed for us *sighs* But while I was offline I did work on a few items.

I created 2 Gothic Arches, actually the firsts that I have ever made...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This was my first attempt to make a halloween themed one. I was happy with the way it turned out in some ways but not so much with the glass effect on the actual main image. It really doesnt show up well in a photo w/ all of the glaring and everything. I used handmade paper with a fork technique I created and a few stamps and tearing... its simple but I thought it turned out ok.

My second attempt at a Halloween theme turned out much better... this was for a swap in the yahoogroup ArtJunction....

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

My friend Indi sent me some really nice halloween images and this was one of my favorite's of the set. I spritzed the base of the arch with black and purple acrylics and then placed the image in the center, I then took a few inchie stamped faces and spritzes them with purple and black acrylic using my mini-misters and attached them. I used black ribbons of the 3 corners, and stamped 'They all return on Halloween' for a creepy little quote effect... I thought it turned out nicely its my favorite Halloween creation so far and I think the final one of the season :)

Other than these creations and 3 new pieces added to my shop Altered Whimsey I havent really created much new... but I think for the time I have been away that I did well with all the moving and everything. I will say that Im glad to be settled and hope to start creating more soon! Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween Chunky Book Tip-in's

I thought I would share my creations from a swap via a cool group called Absolutely_Everything_Swap_Central. The project is for 18 pages in size 4x7, in a halloween or day of the dead theme... for a chunky book that each member will receive in the end with the art from all the other participants. This swap has lasted forever it seems! WOW! I had no idea that it would turn out to be soooo big! I will be honest and say that I am ready for different projects and themes other than Halloween now after creating these pages! Wouldnt you be *chuckles*
This is going to be a large post with ALOT of scans... there are 13 pages in total (so far) there will be 18 pages when I am finally completed with this project! Because of my illness and now our moving its going to take me another week I am sure to complete the last few pages that I need. Enjoy gandering at my creations... and please please do leave me comments, feedback, and constructive criticism. Its welcome! :D Comment back with which is your favorite, or even your least favorite.... It really interests me to hear people's thoughts and to learn from these types of situations... its truly a great way to learn how to improve yourself!

My favorite pages are #2, #4, #6, #9, #11 and #12
To choose just one thats my all time favorite is difficult for me! I think that #4 is my favorite of them all and then #12 would come in a close second. I enjoyed making all of these and really hope that my tip-in's for this project are ok :) Every page has a handmade background paper on it. I tried to make sure to create my own personal pages and spend as much time on each pages as I could. Btw- you can click each picture to enlarge it... :)

Newest Creation.... Kids Trio Challenge ATC & Update

I thought I would take a moment to share a little update on me and my life/health at the moment and also my newest and first creation since I became ill... I'm doing a lot better, I still have a few more days of taking the antibiotics but they seem to be helping tremendously. The infection is almost gone, and I am feeling more energized, but not 100%. You should see my left arm from where they were trying to give me the iv's and blew the veins, I'm so bruised there. Its almost a perfect circle around my wrist. :( But I am thankful to have gotten the medical help that I needed so I wont complain too awful much. The pain is almost obsolete now which is wonderful... every now and then when I get cold or something the pain will pop up a little but not anywhere near as horribly as it was earlier this week/last weekend. I do have some wonderful news about moving! I was feeling a bit better yesterday so Tim and I met with this lovely lady in a town called Oceana about 30-40 minutes from here about a home there. We got to tour the place and speak with her. We both fell in love with its location and everything! Its larger, and has 3 bedrooms, a nice yard.... The river is smaller and right across the street from the house and I made sure to ask about flooding and she said that it hasn't flooded before. Plus there is a church 2 houses down from there that is really lovely and everyone is super nice. It's really a dream home for us and we filled out all of the needed paperwork there on the spot because we loved it so much. The greatest part is that its in a decent sized town (sort of like Madison) and there are vintage shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and everything we need right there instead of us driving 45 minutes to go anywhere... I'm really excited and praying that we get accepted into this place. If we do get accepted we could start moving anytime this month and be in our new home by November 1st! Isn't that wonderful! We aren't really happy with our location, or our landlords here where we live. We went to speak with them yesterday about possibly moving and they were very rude and said 'when can we expect you out, we have someone interested in a place and we need to call them back to make the necessary arrangements for them to move in' Its like we are being FORCED out! Like they want us to move. I'm really not sure what we ever did. We always pay on time and are quiet and keep to ourselves.... I just don't understand... but I would rather be away from folks like that anyway!

I will definitely update when I find out more information from the lovely lady we spoke with yesterday! :) I think that's all the news for me.
Last night I decided to try to create a small piece just to do something and sort of jump back into creating but not overwhelm myself... so in the group AlteredDesigns I printed this weeks challenge image and created a halloweenish styled ATC from it. It turned out nicely. I got to use a stamp that I just purchased from Purple Onion Designs of an old tree that really gave the wicked Halloween feel I was going for. Then I used my favorite twinkles watercolors for the border and the clouds and added a shiny black bow. :) I know its simple but I really didn't want to overdo it and wanted the image to still be there with out be totally overlooked with embellishments etc. It was nice to create something again... its a good start to getting back into the groove of things! Just thought I would share! Hope everyone is doing well! Happy Crafting to you all!

Not well...

Sorry I havent been here to blog everyone... I've been really sick. I decided to close Altered Whimsey temporarily for the next week or so until I am better.

I had this lump show up on my neck about 2 weeks ago, and it continued to grow larger and more painful over the days that past. This morning that pain was so severe that I went to the ER. I couldnt take it anymore and nothing seemed to help. I havent really slept in 3 days or ate very much because of it. The lump grew to gigantic and was from under my ear to almost my chin and I couldnt even touch it, it hurt for air to blow on it! It even had my eye irritated and turned birght red. So this morning at 6:30 am I went to the ER and found out that both glands in my neck were infected severely and that the infection had went through out my neck and up the side of my face. The dr. told me that I waited too long and it could have traveled to my brain if I would have waited my longer. They put me on an IV with lots of fluids, pain meds, and a very strong dosage of antibiotics. It took them 3 trys to get the IV in. My veins collapse and its always been hard to draw blood etc. On my left side they tried 2 times and both times they got the needle in but the vein blew. Then finally they got it into my right wrist after digging for it... it was very painful. After giving me 1/2 of the fluids the dr ordered a cat scan. She was worried it may be the mumps. Luckily its not, but it did show all of the severe swelling etc. When I first arrived my blood pressure was 156/96 and when I left it was 135/93 so I have to go to a dr. and get my blood pressure and things checked. Hopefully it was just from the anxiety of being there and the pain and everything. Its the first time I have ever been in the hospital for me since I was a little girl and had my tonsils removed. So I was at the hospital until 2:00 pm and the dr gave me 875 milligrams of antibiotics and also Lortab for the pain. Hopefully this helps. The pain isnt there but the pressure and swelling are still there. Im really praying this goes away. The dr. classified this as something called Cellulitis (sp?)
I really thought that it was like a boil or something and nothing major to worry about but the longer I put it off and waited for it to amazingly disappear the worse and worse it got and the more pain I felt until I couldnt stand it any longer. My advice is dont ever wait last minute when it comes to your health... get checked out. I havent been to a dr in a very very long time.... the last appt I had was for the gynecologist.... but for other health things... its been years... probably since I was 15 or before! Thats not so good..... so I think I've definately learned my lesson. Please keep me in your thoughts and pray that this thing gets better soon.....

My newest drawing... 'Preparing for the charge'

Hi folks :) I thought I would share my newest piece with everyone... this one I call Preparing for the Charge... as well you can see why. It reminded me of a knight and horse preparing to charge during a jousting match. I used a reference photo from a renaissance festival that was shared on WetCanvas.com. I thought I would share the reference photo along with my piece just to show how my piece turned out, next to the 'real' thing I guess. It was a fun piece, and an interesting subject to work with. Im trying to really get my shop moving and create as much as I can... I decided to create this piece to add to the shop in hopes of more traffic and not waiting for commissions and such. I would love to hear your comments on this piece! :) Thanks for taking the time to take a gander :D

Random Thoughts....

Isnt this pic cute? -Hee hee- Its of our furbabies Rupert and Binx (brother and sister) I have another pic of Binx sleeping with her mommy (Libby) but I'll share that another time. Tim (my hubby) has a real nac for catching the sweet moments with them.

I thought I would share these cool little things that were sent to me today....

This first thing is really a nifty idea, and if I had the money at the moment I would buy one on the spot because I think its a wonderful unique idea and I would love to show off my creations.. it would be an AWESOME way for me to advertise my shop too! So maybe I can splurge sometime and order one.. who knows... to see what Im rambling about visit this site: http://pursueyourart.com/ Let me know what you think of it!

The next thing was actually part of an aol article about Most outrageous requests at hotels.. and this was amusing to me and sort of a silly fact to know I guess:

Sheep and Flies
Salvador Dali was a regular guest at the Meurice Hotel in
Paris. The rooms have high ceilings, parquet floors and 18th-century, Louis XVI-style furnishings. Dali once asked the hotel's concierge staff to bring an entire herd of sheep to his rooms, so he could shoot blank bullets at them. On another occasion, he asked the concierges to catch flies for him in the Tuileries Garden.

I changed my banners and things for the shop and its blog, (and this blog as you can tell), I like it better.. I think its more legible..so I am happy with that. My Stag drawing has 11 views already but no one's purchased it yet. Im just psyched that 11 people checked it out! I even started working on another drawing tonight that should be up by the end of the weekend. Im really hoping to get this shop going, I enjoy creating the things for it and sharing what I have created... its all relaxing and fun for me. Maybe just maybe I was being silly for a little while there, now I am for sure this is what Im supposed to be doing.... its not wasting my life, is it?

My Halloween Experiment w/ clay...

I've never really worked w/ clay in the past, but today I decided to try it out to see how I like it. Just for kicks, something new and interesting to try... I thought creating something for Halloween would be nice, since it is right around the corner....

Everything is created from various colors of baking clay (Premo' Brand) I decided to make her faceless. Im a BIG fan of folk art... and if you are familiar with folk art, there are alot of creations such as angels that do not have faces... I thought this would make her a little more FOLKY. :) The biggest challenge for me was getting her to stand without help, luckily thanks to some toothpicks and a lot of patience, I got her to stand up through out the baking process. She isnt really that big, maybe 4 inches tall, and about 2 inches wide. I didnt think a big project was a good idea for a beginner such as myself. I really love how she turned out and hate that I am selling her *but what's the point of having a business if you cant unattach yourself from everything and sell it* hee hee... She is for sell... I will be selling her on my etsy site and also I am putting her in a yard sale this weekend. She is only $3.50 plus $1.00 shipping. If you are interested in purchasing my folk witch please email me at Grl4ART@aol.com :) Thanks so much :)

The Results are in....

After a long wait on pins and needles to see if I did indeed get the Book Cover commission that I have been talking about for what seems like forever, the results came in finally on Sept 14th at around 11 pm in an email from Mr. Matt Monarch (the author of the book 'Raw Success') I have to say that I was actually scared to open the email, I had been waiting so long and that email was what was standing in my way from actually having one of my works published, and being completely heartbroken from the whole anticipation and getting my hopes up. But I opened the email and this my friends is the email and what it said:

Hi Andrea,
Thank you so much for your entry. We have chosen another book cover. Your book cover was almost chosen! It came down to your amazing book cover (with the female on it) and the one that we chose. Thank you so much! Can I get your address so that I can send you a complimentary copy of Raw Success for your amazing efforts? Since it was very close and you were the Runner Up, I would also like to give you a Raw Spirit Book (if you haven't read it) and any other Raw Food Book of your choice. Let me know which one you want.
IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD your book cover!!!
Thanks!Matt

Of course I told myself repeatedly that I wouldnt get down on this if I didnt get it, but who am I trying to kid?!?! I was really sad about it, and am still a little down on the whole thing now.. but I will survive, and move on like we all do in life. He did share with me in a later email the bookcover design that he did choose.... and here it is:

It is a nice design but some how I feel that is is actually too much like my design but toned down and with less detail, am I wrong in thinking that? Here once more, for its final viewing pleasure are the 2 designs I created...

Perhaps mine was too Frilly for him but he liked the idea? Maybe it wasnt realistic enough for his book... Im not really sure, but I am glad that it was the runner up and appreciate the opportunity more than anything.... It was definately an experience that I can say I did.... who knows... maybe there will be more book covers in my future! The world may never know.
