~*Johnny Depp Themed Deco*~

Another Brilliant Actor would be Johnny Depp. This was a very simple deco for me but I think it turned out nicely. I again used a tearing method... I cut out the printed image of johnny depp and then traced him on white and black paper... I then cut out the tracings and placed one on either side of his photo. I think used my printer again and made the label out of the film font I happened across one day... added a few glittery stars and there you have a simple Johnny Depp themed deco.

~:: My first Altered Tag Project ::~

There were a lot of Firsts in 2006 I must say! These are my first ever altered tags. My best friend Indi told me about this great little craft and I was ever so excited that the first theme I stumbled across in GlobalChatty was Fantasy Tags! I wanted to do something unique... and so I found a really lovely graphic by Josephine Wall I believe... *these were created in October and so I used a fall (the pumpkins) theme* I printed the image to be about the same size as the tag, and used pink and purpled toned tissue paper at the top cut into odd geometric shapes. I accented with a dragonfly cut out + added glitter to its wings and to the moon under the dragonfly and also added silver stars. On the ladies staff I placed a blue/purple tented jewel to give it a nice dimensional effect. and then for the finale I used blue and purple fiber's for the tassel. I think it turned out nicely but I couldnt get the scan to be clear enough because of the 3d jewel. This was as clear of an image I could manage. Hopefully the receiver of these tags will enjoy them as much as I did making them! *smiles*

This would be the 2nd of the Fantasy tag series. It took me a while to get the ambition up to actually work on my crafts again and so this tag was not completed until late December of 2006. I tired to be more creative with this tag. Please try to ignore the yellow background of this photo as I was using my digi camera and had this tag hanging on my eisle. This is another graphic from Josephine Wall (an excellent fantasy artist!) I took a white button to give another 3d effect and added a glitter coating to it to make it look like the moon in the image. I added multi colored stars and a lace for accenting at the bottom of the tag. I then traced the entire tag with clear sparkling glitter. I used blue, brown and purple fibers for the tassel and a fuschia tented ribbon shaped bead at the top to attach it to the tag. I believe it turned out quite nicely.

~:: My Favorite Actor Deco ::~

This of course is my favorite actor *smiles + swoons!* I have been infatuated with this man since before Lord of the Rings, but of course when I first seen him in The Fellowship of the Ring, my infatuation increased and to this day I think he is one of the most interesting and talented actors I have set my eyes on. He acts, he sings, he paints, and he writes poetry! What more could you ask for! *SMILES* of course I can only swoon as I am a happily married lady, very content with my loving husband! Back to the deco at hand of course! I didnt want to use Viggo as Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings as a lot of people do lately... because he is much more than just Aragorn... and to see him as the real Viggo seems to be much more interesting. I used the tearing technique again (if Im not careful that may become a signature of mine *smiles*) and I used my lovely printer and decorative scissors... spangles, and my markes... and wah--lah! You have this deco... from me to the world... Again... I havent seen this deco since the Summer of 2006, and have yet to be able to track it.... woah is me!

~:: People That Changed the World Deco ::~

This is not a "new" deco by me but it's one of my favorites, and

I really LOVE the theme of it. I like challenging and creative themes and this one wasnt Challenging for me because when I decided to do this swap I knew exactly who I wanted to create the deco of. Mother Theresa is a big wordly influence, and to me a role model. I would have loved to meet her and discuss the problems we have in society today.... even worse than they were when she was still blessing us with her presence here on Earth. I couldnt scan the entire chain on the left but it is beaded and at the bottom of the beading is a cross, it turned out very nicely. I created this many months ago, I would say summer of 2006 but alas I have not be able to track the where-a-bouts of it and it has not returned home to me... as my luck has it, many of my decos seem to travel in that manner and I never get to see them return home :( Hopefully some day as I would love to see what person on this planet inspired each signer....
